Mrs. Gerda Knodt is requesting a rezoning for a 2 .5 acre agricultural lot
split, located at 15102 Clayton Avenue between Coates and CSAH 42 . The new
lot will be rezoned from Agriculture Preserve to Agriculture. The
procedural action is necessary because the 2 .5 acre lot no longer qualifies
for the Agricultural Preserve Program. The Knodt farm, however, will
remain Agricultural Preserve.
The Planning Commission recommended approval of the agricultural lot split
on December 8, 1992 . In addition, the Planning Commission will review the
application for rezoning and make a recommendation at their January I2,
1993 regular me ting.
R.ECOI�Il2ENDED ACTION: A motion to set a Public Hearing for Tuesday,
January 19, 199'3 at 8: 00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as possible to
hear public testimony regarding the rezoning of property addressed as
15102 Clayton Avenue from Agriculture Preserve to Agriculture.

Noz'�tc� Is HEx�sY Giv�r, the City Cauncil of the City of Rosemount will hold a Public
Hearing to consider the item listed below on Tuesday, 7anuary 19, 1993, in the Council
Chambers of the City �iall, 2875 i45th Street West, beginning at 8:00 p.m., or as soon
thereafter as possible. The public heari.ng listed below pertains to the following described
ProPertY:
That part of the Northwest Quarter of Section 31, Township 115, Range 18, Dakota County,
Minnesota, described as fallows: Gommencing at the northwest corner of said Northwest .
Quarter; thence south (assumed bearing) alang the west line of said Northwest Quarter 338.40
feet to the point of beginning; thence continuing on a bearing of South along said west line
454.00 feet; thence on a bearing of East 240.00 feet; thence an a bearing of North 454.00
feet; thence on a bearing of West 240.00 feet to the point of beginning. Subject to and
together with an easement for ingress and egress over the south 15.00 feet thereot. Subject to
an easement for U.S. Highway No. 52 and ali other easements of record, if any. Containing
2.50 acres, more or less.
The purpose of this hearing is to consider a rezoning of the above described property from
Agriculture Preserve (AG-P) to Agriculture (AG) due to the fact that this 2.5-acre parcel
does not meet minimum criteria for Agriculture Preserve classification.
Persons wishing to speak on this issue are invited to attend this meeting on Tuesdav.
