The representatives of the architects office on the Armory and Community
Center project will be available on Tuesday to present the color charts and
material examples for the Armory and Community Center project.
The majority of the products can now be selected since all subcontractors
and suppliers are now selected.
I wanted to have the Council have the opportunity to review the materials
to be used on the project before a final choice is made. Especially in the
outside materials where the project is most visible to the community.
The architect will be able to explain the options and the materials to be
considered. In some cases there will be little or no choice but in most
cases there will be. Some of the interior material finishes will have to
be decided on later. Some have to be decided on now so that the materials '
can be ordered.
