Center Manager � � � ATTACHMENTS: Request from Bill Corigan AP OVED BY: Bill Corigan, resident of Rosemount, has requested use of the gymnasium for a boxing exhibition. According to Mr. Corigan, the State Boxing Commission requires permission from the hosting City to conduct a boxing exhibit in its baundaries . Mr. Corigan proposes four or five preliminary bouts and a main event, lasting about four hours and attracting about 1, 500 spectators . The Community Center would operate the concessions and beer would be served by a Rosemount On-Sale Liquor Provider. The State Boxing Commission would pay $60 per hour for use of the gym, provide boxing ring, extra tables & chairs, police & medical supervision and crowd control . The State Boxing Commission hopes to conduct a boxing exhibition in February, 1994 . RECOIyIl�ENDED ACTION: Motion to approve the State Boxing Commission to conduct one boxing exhibition in the Community Center.
