This is a request for Council to consider amendins and1cats .Chapter 4 of
the City Code with regards to registration of dog
The recommended amendments are as �ollows:
7-4B-1, Paragraph B, shouid be amended to state that applications for
registrations shall be made at the police de�aaaomeandreat�tags�for�Years;

AN ORDINANCE AMEI�iI)ING TITLE 7, CHAPTER 4, ARTICLE B,
SECTION l, PERTAINTNG T� DOGS AND CATS,
REGISTR.ATION AND C�NDUCT
The City Council of the City of Rosemount, Minnesota, ordains as
foll.ows:
Section 1; Title 7, Chapter 4, Article B, Section 1 of the
Rosemount City Code is amended to read as follows :
7-4B-1: REGISTRATION PR�VISIONS:
B. Application for registration shall be paid to the C--��
E}e�}� Police Department. It shall include such
descriptive information as is necessary to provide a
reasonable identification of the dog or cat and owner.
C. Term of Validity: All registration� shall be �alid for
one year, said yearly periad being from ��—�--�-�
r�z June 1, to May 31.
Section 2 : This Ordinance shall be effective immediately
upan its passage and publication.
ADOPTED this 20th day of April, 1993 .
