Attached is a letter the City received from the attorney for the Vermillion
River Watershed Management Organization. He is suggesting that the City
Councils from the member cities approve the recommendations from the Board
that John Gretz be reappointed and that Bud Osmundson fill the vacant seat
on the Board. -
City Engineer Osmundson has agreed to serve as a commissioner.

RE: A ointment of Vermillion River WMO Commissioners
Dear Group AAA Cierks:
Our office is legal counsel for the Vermillion River Watershed
Management Organization ("WMO") . The WMO Board ,is concerned that no
action has been taker� on the appointment of commissioners. The
appointment process is obviously cumbersome. 'To make the process
easier and without meaning to be presumptuous, the Board suggests
that John Gretz be reappointed and that Bud Osmundson, the
Rosemount City Engineer, be appointed to fill the vacancy created
by the--resignation of Dan O'Neill. Tf your City Council concurs,
please notify me of your concurrence in writing. This would
alleviate the need for a meeting of the city delegates.
