The eommittee working on the Parks System Master plan had
concluded that Jaycee Park would best suit the City of Rosemount
in the long term as a neighborhood park . During the time of its
original design and construction this park was designated to serve
_ as a community park . This change from a community park to a
neighborhood park was included in the Parks System Master Plan as
approved by the City Council .
Originally the soccer fields and the baseball/softball field were
to have lights . With the downgrading _of the park to a neighborhood
park these lights were removed from the design plans .
The grant for .7aycee Park was also affected because of this
change . Lighting for the ballfields had been included in the
application . During the month of May , 1991 contact was made with
the grant office and a change was authorized to be made .
Authorization was given to move ahead without a loss of grant
dollars .
What is required for the: grant files are the documents attached to
be signed and recorded . They affirm the mutual agreement for the
changes in the park design by their officers and those of the City
of Rosemount .

To dellete lighting for the Little League baseball/softball fields from the
proje�t scope. No change in dollar amount.
Except asll,herein amended, the provisions of the original Agreement are expressly
reaffirmed by the parties and renain in full force and effect.
