Notice; Mailing List; Location Map. ; ��-��''� � � � Mr. & Mrs. Earl Knodt are requesting approval of a rezahing for the 2 .5-acre parcel created by the proposed lot split trom Agriculture Preserve {AG-P) to Agriculture (AG) . This action is necessary because the 2 .5-acre parcel no longer qualifies for the Agriculture Preserve Program per Minnesota State Statutes. On January 12, 1993 the Planning Commission recommended approval of the rezoning at ��eir Regular Meeting. Rezoning the 2 .5-acre parcel will have no effect on the Agricultural Preserve status of the original farm. In addition, the rezoning is a condition of approval of the agricultural lot split. This lot division will be acted on by the City Council under N_ew Business on this meeting' s agenda. OF THE CITY OF ROSEMOUNT, TlIINNBSOTA ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. Ordinance No. B, adopted September 19, 1989, entitled Ordinance B - City of Rosemount Zoning Ordinance, is hereby amended to rezone from AG-P Agriculture Preserves to AG Agriculture the following described property located within the City of Rosemount, Minnesota to-wit: That part of the Northwest Quarter (NWl/a) of Section 31, Township 115, Range 18, Dakota County, Minnesota, described as follows: Cornmencing at the northwest corner of said Northwest Quarter (NWl/a); thence south (assumed bearing) along the west line of said Northwest Quarter (NWl/a) 338.40 feet to the point of beginning; thence continuing on a bearing of South along said west line 454.00 feet; thence on a bearing of East 240.00 feet; thence on a bearing of North 454.00 feet; thence on a bearing of West 240.00 feet to the point of beginning. Subject to and together with an easement for ingress and egress over the south 15.00 feet thereof. Subject to an easement for U.S, Highway No. 52 and all other easements of record, if any. Containing 2.50 acres, more or less. SEC'rION II. The Zoning Map of the City of Rosemount referred to and described in said Ordinance No. B as that certain map entitled, Zoning Map of the City of Rosemount shall not be republished to show the aforesaid rezoning, but the Clerk shall appropriately mark the said zoning map on file in the Clerk's office for the purpose of indicating the rezoning hereinabove provided for in this Ordinance and all of the notation references and other information shown thereon are hereby incorporated by reference and made a part of this Ordinance. SECTION III. This ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its passage and publication according to law. Enacted and ordained into an Ordinance this 19th day of January, 1993. This property is located at 15102 Clayton Avenue. The rezoning is necessary because the 2.5-acre parcel no longer qualifies for the Agriculture Preserve Program by itself. The Knodt farm will remain in the program and retain the Agricultural Preserve Zoning. A public hearing for the rezoning is set for 8:00 p.m., or soon thereafter as possible, on Tuesday, January 19, 1993 in the City of Rosemount Council Chambers. Recommended Action: A MOTION to recommend approval of the rezoning of 15102 Clayton Avenue from Agriculture Preserve (AG-P) to Agriculture (AG).
