The city has received two petitions for block parties to be held on
Septexnber 25, 1993. . �
One petition for your consideration is to allow the cul-de-sac on 159th
Court West to be blocked off between the hours of 4:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.
The petition contains signatures of all residents living on 159th Court ��
West.
The other petition for your consideration would allow a block party on
Dahlia Court. They are requesting that the entire street be blocked off.
Again, all residents on the street have agreed to the block party between
the hours of 1:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.
Both petitions are in order, and I recommend approval. �
RECOMMENDED ACTION: MOTION TO AUTHORIZE THE BLOCK PARTY TO BE HELD ON
DAHLIA COURT, BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 1 P.M. AND 8 P.M. AND THE BLOCK PARTY
TO BE HELD ON 159TH COURT WEST, BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 4 PM AND 10 P.M. ON
SEPTEMBER 25, 1993.
