At the special City Council meeting held to discuss the Carl n Mall
proposal their was discussion about having a joint meeting between the City
Courieil and the Port Authority.
In light of the discussions and concerns raised about the direction that
the Port Author.�ty is taking on the business park and other projects it was
felt t�at a joint meeting between the two should take place.
The purpose would be to discuss just what direction the Port Authority
should be taking and how the City Council sees the Port Authoritys
involvement in development in the City.
RECOI�IlKENDED ACTION:Motion to set a special City Council meeting for
October 4, 1993 at 6 :30 P.M. to meet with the Port Authority to discuss
development goals and objectives for the Port Authority.
