The City has purchased and cleared three pare s adja nt to the National Guard Armory. The properties have been de loped as a _ stormwater detention pond for the facilit�. The properties are zoned . C-2 Community Commercial and should be zoned PB Public/Quasi-.Public. The Planning Commission initiated the request at the August 10, 1993 meeting and are recommending the City Council approve the rezoning ta make the zoning consistent of the Armory site. A public hearing is required to adopt this zoning change, At a later date, the property descriptions will be combined and subdivided to reflect the final ownership of the land between the National Guard and the City. Recommended Action: MOTION to adopt Ordinance B-31 rezoning the three properties south of the National Guard Armory site from C-2 Commercial to PB Public/Quasi-Public.
