The Rosemount Community Center expects to receive adve ising evenues in providing advertising servi.ces to customers . Advertising components include but are not limited to: 1) Scoreboard, one 2 ' x 18 ' sponsar panel . 2} Resurfacer, two 2 ' x 4 ' panels. 3) Ten interior signs located behind the players ' box. 4) Two exterior banners fastened to the banquet and auditorium walls, facing HWY 3 . 5} Event sponsorship, program & facility brochures, donated equipment, and other. The attached policies and advertising charges fall under several criteria: 1) The Community Center Manager will be allowed some flexibility in designing and pricing `advertising packages, however, a defined structure will exist for the above components . 2) Advertising will be displayed in a uniform manner and adhere to high quality standards . 3) We provide the customer with a high level of service. 4) Longer contract periods are desired as long as the customer has the flexibility to choose a period length and cost which best serves their needs . Advertising prices for the scoreboard are based on a fifteen �rear replacement cost . Resurfacer advertising is priced at market rates. Interior advertising design is fashioned after approaches made by Braoklyn Park Community Center and Hastings Ice Arena. Exterior banners are priced at $15-0 markup. The City Attorney and the Community Center Commission have reviewed the attached policy and contract. Advertising components include but are not limited to these areas: 1) Scoreboard, one 2 ft. x 18 ft. sponsor panel. 2) Resurfacer, two 2 ft. x 4 ft. panels. , 3) Interior signs, up to 10 lighted lexon 2 ft. x 10 ft, signs, mounted to the wall behind the players' box. 4) Exterior banners, one 3 ft. x 5 ft. banner fastened to the exterior banquet wall facing HWY 3, and one 5 ft. x 20 ft. banner fastened to the exterior of the auditorium wall facing HWY 3. � 5) Other advertising opportunities include spansorship with events, program and facility brochures, recognition for donated equipment, and other. The Community Center Manager is granted some flexibility with negotiating advertising arrangements with clients but is acts under the direction of the following guidelines: l. The Community Center Manager will provide the client with a written agreement stating the length of time the advertising will be displayed and the fee associated with the advertising service. 2. The displayed advertising will not be offensive, discriminate against, nor harass any individual or group on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, disability, age, marital status, or status with regard to public assistance. 3. The Community Center Manager has the authority to deny requests to display advertising and may choose to review the advertising in question with the Community Center Commission. 4. The Community Center Manager will anange for the design and manufacturing of all advertising, adhering to standards of high quality. Advertising which becomes worn or damaged will be replaced promptly. 5. Advertising charges will be billed to the customer after the custamer has reviewed the advertising copy and signed a contract, and before the advertising is displayed. 6. Specific guidelines: a) Scoreboard - The scoreboard was initially purchased by First State Bank of Rosemount for approximately $8,500 in return for 5_years of displayed - advertising. After the 5 year period, First State Bank will have the option of renewing a 3 year contract for $3,900, payable in three yearly increments of $1,300. b) Resurfacer - Advertising on both panels is priced at $9S0 per year for 3 year contract, $1,000 per year for 2 year contract, and $1,050 per year for l year contract. � c) Interior signs - Advertising is priced at $850 per year for 3 year contract, $900 per year for 2 year contract, and $950 per year for 1 year contract. d) Exterior banners - The srnaller banner is priced at $350. The larger is priced at $550. Banners will be clisplayed for a period no longer than 45 days.
