September 1, 1993
"STILL KEEPIIVG ON SCHEDULE"
The Community Center project still remains in schedule, both in the construction process
and with facility operations. Walls have now emerged in the banquet & auditorium
facilities, team locker rooms, and concession areas. Concrete for the arena bleachers
has ben poured and the refrigerated slab is expected to be poured within two weeks.
Volunteers from R.A.H.A. wtll be installing anchors for the dasher boards just before
the refrigerated slab is poured. The parling lot is nearly excavated and paving is
scheduled for the month of October. The newly formed holding pond has collected it's
first water.
With respect to facility operations, the following items are in progress:
1) Contracts for major users of ice time are nearly completed. Rosemount
High School and R.A.H.A. have secured most of the prime time haurs.
