Rosemount Police Officers Burkhalter and Som�ners belong to a police task force
called the "Mutual Aid Agreement Group. (MAAG)
This group is called upon for potentially extremely dangerous assigruaents such
as an arried and barricaded person, making high risk entries into buildings during
the execution of a search, etc.
Both of our offieers are in need of special heavy duty ballistic vests which contain
added protection of ceramic plates. Ea.ch vest will cost approximately $1600.00 in-
cluding tax.
Accaunt nwnber 202-49002-01-585, with a balance of $3200.00, has been assigned for
the purchase of the vests if approval is given.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: MOTION T0 AUTHORIZE TEiE PURCHASE OF TWO SPECIAL ENTRy
VESTS AT A COST NOT TO EXCEID $3200.00. THIS AMOUNT WILL COME FROM ACCOUNT
NCJMBER 202-49002-01-585.
