This item is a reguest for authorization to proceed with the purchase of an
o�gen resuscitation unit. This unit would be carried on vehicle 3599 .
Vehicle 3599 responds directly to the scene for medical calls.
We have purchased two of these units through county grants and had hoped of
doing this again, however, that program was discontinued due to a shortage
of funds.
Two bids are attached. We would be looking to purchase this item from
Medical Oxygen Supply at a cost of $620. Money for such a purchase has
been budgeted in Account #202-49002-01-580.
RECOI�NDED ACTION: Motion to authorize the fire department to
purchase an oxygen resuscitation unit from Medical Oxygen and Equip.
Company at a cost of $620 plus tax and delivery with money to come from
Account #202-49002-01-580.
