Two farms in the Agricultural Preserves program are up for renewal in 1993 .
Both of these property owners have eleeted to re-enroll in the AG Preserves
program.
Earl and �Florence Bester and Wayne and Sheila Groth have completed the
necessary paper work and have met the statutory requirements for this
program.
The attached resolutzon certifies their properties as eligible for this
designation.

A RESOLIITION CERTIFYING LANDS ELIGIBLE
FOR AGRICULTLTR.AI� PRESERVES
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Agricultural Preserves Aet tMinnesota
Statutes 473H.Q1 et seq. ) provides for establishing Agricultural
Preserves; and
WHEREAS, the Act requires that to be eligible land must be
planned for the long-term agricultural use according to the local
comprehensive plan adopted pursuar�t to Minnesota Statutes 473 . 851
(et seg. ) ; and
WBEREAS, the Act further requires such property to be zoned for ,
long-term agricultural use with a maximum residential density not
to exceed one unit per 40 acres; and
y+TSEREAS, the Ca.ty of Rosemount has planned and zoned certain
areas as required by the Act.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the City Council of the City of
Rasemount hereby certifies that all of the areas so marked on the •
map appended are eZigible for designation as agricultural
preserves.
BE IT FIIRTHER RESOLVED, the Clerk shall file a copy of this
resalution with the Metropolitan Council .
ADOPTED this 2nd day of March, 1993 .
