I have received, this day, a letter of resignation from Lisa reese, our
Director af Planning. Lisa has indicated that she is taking a position
with the City of Roseville and will be starting with that City on November
l, 1993 .
Lisa has been with us since June of 1991. I would personall� like to
thank her for all of her hard work, exemplorary performance and leadership
through some very difficult times here with the City. Thanks to Lisa's
leadership we have been able to work through and complete s�veral difficult
projects.
She will be missed.-
I would like to wish her well in her new position.
With the appointment of Mr Wasmund as acting/interim City Administrator I
would recommend that Mr. Wasmund be directed to come back at the the next
council meeting with a recommendation on how to proceed with Lisa' s
replacement and possible reorganization of staff in the interim and long
term.
RECONIlMSENDED ACTION: Mation to accept the resignation of Lisa Freese as
Director of Planning effective October 29, 1993 .

RE: Resignation of Position
After considerable deliberation, I have decided to resign my position as Planning Director for
the City of Rosemount. I have accepted an employment offer from the City of Roseville in
their Community Development Department. My employment in Roseville will begin
November 1, 1993. I would like to make October 29 my last day of work and I will be
taking a couple of vacation days prior to that date.
My deeision to leave is based on personal rea.sons. The new position is an opportunity to
continue an association with my profession and maintain a greater level of cammitment to my
family.
