In the 1992 CIP money was budgeted for hose and nozzles to be used in
conjunction with a new aerial truck. Due to the failure of the referendum
the purchase of those items was postponed and money was incumbered and
carried over to 1993 . Because we still do not know the exact future of the
aerial truck we will again be postponing the purchase of hose that would be
used in conjunction with that vehicle. However, we are in need of
replacing four hose nozzles an our current aerial truck, which would also
be compatible with any truck we would purchase in the future. The specific
nozzles we would be looking to purchase are listed below:

Total $2, 151.30
Clarey' s Safety Equipment of Rochester has the low bid on both of these
items. The total expenditure at this time would be $2, 151. 30 plus some
delivery charges. Money has been budgeted as indicated above and would
come from Account #202-24436 .
RECOI�IENDED ACTION: Motion to authorize the fire department to purchase
four nozzles at a cost of $2, 151.30 plus delivery.
