Building Valuation Data �„_ �
City Ordinance, as adopted by Council, states that Building Permit
Fees shall be determined using the valuation calculated by the
Building Official. The valuation shall be calculated by applying the
cost per square foot figures supplied by the State of Minnesota,
Department of Administration. These costs are updated by the State on
an annual basis. Therefore, the n�w cost figures must be adopted by
resolution on an annual basis.
The changes are not significant. I have attached both the 1992 and
1993 data sheets for your review. Upon passing of the resolution, we
will calculate all valuation based Building Permit Fees from the 1993
cost figures.

A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING 1993 BUILDING VALUATION DATA
WHEREAS, the City of Rosemount has adopted the 1988 Edition of the Uniform
� Building Code (U.B.C.) and Minnesota State Amendments.
WHEREAS, U.B.C. Section 304 (b) states that the valuation for the determination of
Building Permit Fees shall be made by the Building OfficiaL
WHEREAS,the Minnesota Department of Administration publishes Building Valuation
Data on a cost per square foot basis.
WHEREAS, this Building Valuation Data is updated annually in February.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Rosemount hereby adopts the
February 1993 Building Valuation Data for 1993 valuation computations.
ADOPTED this 16th day of February, 1993.
