On February 9, 1993 the Planning Commission reviewed and voted to
unanimously accept the January, �993 draft o� the Comprehensive Flan
update. They also recommended that the City Council set a formal
public hearing on the P1an for March 10, 1993 at 7:30 p.m.
The official public hearing notice will be placed in the Farmington
Independent as required by state statute. At the City Council' s
earlier request we will also be placing hearing notices and the year
2000 Land Use Map in the Town Pages, This Week and Current
publications. -
Planning staff is making some minor editing revisions and
claritications to the document that were directed by the Planning
Commission. Those corrections will be distributed to you on T'uesday
night.
During the public review period copies of the plan will be available
for review at `the City Hall . Copies will be available for purchase
and the Year 2000 Land Use Map will be distributed free of charge.
On Tuesday, I would suggest that you also set aside a night for a
follow-up workshop just in case you determine that it is necessary.
Recommended Action: A MOTION to accept Update 2000 and to set a
public hearing at 7:30 p.m, on March 10, 1993 for the purpose of
receiving public comment on the proposed Comprehensive Guide Plan
Update 2000 .

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, the City Council of the City of Rosemount will hold a
public hearing on Wednesday, March 10, 1993 in the Council Chambers of the Ciry Hall,
2875 145th Street West, beginnuig at 7:30 p.m.
The purpose of this hearing is to receive public input and comments on a proposed major
revision to the City of Rosemount's Comprehensive Guide Plan. This update addresses
plans�for growth and development in the entire city through the year 2000 and beyond.
Copies of the proposed plan are available for review or can be purchased from the City of
Rosemount Planning Department between 7:30a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monda.y through Friday
at City Hall. Persons wishing to comment on this amendment are invited to attend this
meeting on Wednesday,, March 20, 1993 at 7:30 p.m. or submit a letter before the

I am a United States citizen and the duiy qualified Clerk of the City of Rosemount,
Minnesota.
On February 24, 1993, acting on behalf of the said City, I posted at the City Hall, 2875
145th Street West, Rosemount, Minnesota, and deposited in the United States Post O�ce,
Rosemount, Minnesota, a copy of the attached notice of a Public Hearing far consideration
of a mjor update to the City of Rosemount Comprehensive Guide Plan, enclosed in sealed
envelopes, with postage thereon fully prepaid, addressed to the persons listed on the
attached listings at the addresses listed with their names.
There is delivery service by United States Mail between the place of mailing and the places
so addressed.
