Resolution
This item is on the agenda for final acceptance of the Western
Rosemount Transportation Study whieh was completed by Orr-Schelen-
Mayeron & Associates, Snc. and was presented to the Council on June l,
1993. After tonights discussion we would ask that the Council adopt a
resolution receiving the Western `Rosemount Transportation Study which
will then become part of the Camprehensive Guide Plan far the City.
It will be then be sent along to the Met Council for their
approval .
Tonight Chuck Reichert of OSM will give a brief presentation and then
open the floor for discussion. As previously discussed, the Study
will be a tool which will assist the City in guiding future
transportation planning in the western Rosemount area. Staff
considers it a valuable tool in decision making far future
developments.
Staff recommends adoption of the Western Rosemount Transportation
Study. After any corrections or additians made to the Study tonight
the plan will be final copied and sent out to all City Council and !
Planning Commission Members for their use,

RESOLUTION 1993 -
A RESOLUTION RECEtVtNG THE WESTERN ROSEMOUNT
TRANSPORTATION STUDY
WHEREAS, the City Council is concerned about the future development of Rosemount and
the transportation needs of its citizens, and
WHEREAS, the City Council determined that a Transportation Study was needed to assist
in guiding the future transportation facilities of Western Rosemount, and
WHEREAS, the City Councii authorized that such a Study be completed, and
WHEREAS, the Consulting Engineers for the City have prepared the Western Rasemount
Transportation Study and sucM Study has been presented to this Councit for approvaL
NQW, THEREFORE BE (T RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Rosemount,
Minnesota:
1. The Western Rosemount Transportation Study are hereby approved and ordered
placed on file in the office of the City Clerk.
2. The Western Rosemount Transportation Study shall become a part of the City of
Rosemounts Comprehensive Guide Plan,
ADOPTED the 6th day of July, 1993.
