Mr. George Romo, Ma.intenance Worker Level II in the Utility division,
has announced his retirement effective August l, 1993 . George has
been employed with the City since Ma,y 22, 1978 . George has
contributed many ideas and strong experience during his 15 years of
employment. He has now reached the age of 65 and has decided to do
some traveling and enjoy life without work. His contribution to the
utility operation and his experience will be missed. We wish hi.m the
best of luck in his traveling adventures and invite him to stop and
say hello on occasion.
At the Ju1y 20, 1993 Council meeting I will be bringing the job
description and posting for the filling of this position to you for
your approval .
