On Friday, June 25, 1993 bids for the referenced roject ere received
and read aloud publicly. Seven bi.ds were received and a e listed for
your review on the attached bid tabulation.
The low bid received is from McNamara Contracting, Inc. , 14605 Johnny
Cake Ridge Rvad, Apple Valley, Minnesota 55068, in the amount af
$37, 376 .25.

The engineers estimate �uvas $46, 000 based on 1992 and 1993 construction
costs.
The project will be completed by Ju1y 31, 1993 , Staff recommends the
award of Project No. 241 to McNamara �antracting, Inc. in the amount
of $37, 376.25.

A RESOWTION RECEIVING BIDS AND AWARDING CONTRACT
WHITE LAKE ACRES AREA
126TH STRE€T & BISGAYNE AVENUE BITUMINOUS OVERLAY -
CITY PROJECT 241
BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Councii of the City of Rosemount, Minnesota, as
foilows:
1 . All bids on construction of White Lake Acres Overlay arehereby received
and tabulated.
2. The bid of McNamara Contracting, Inc. in the amount of S3?,376.25 far
the construction of said improvements in accordance with the plans and
specifications and advertisement fior bids is the Iowest responsible bid
and shaN be and hereby is accepted.
3. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a
contract with said bidder for the construction of said improvements for
and on behalf of the City ofi Rosemaunt.
4. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to
all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposit of
aH successful bidder and the next two lowest bidders shall be retained
until a contract has been executed,
ADOPTED this 6th day of July, 1993.
