This item consists of approval of plans and spe fication or Shannon
Hills 5th Addition. We have a set of Plans and Specifica ions on file
in my office for your examination.
The Feasibility Report was accepted by Council at the May 18, 1993
meeting and the public hearing held on June 1, 1993 . Tl�e next step in
the process is now to approve the plans and specifications and
authorize Staff to seek bids on the project. A bid opening date has
been set for July 30, 1993 at 10 :00 a.m.
Advertisement will be placed in the City' s official newspaper and
Construction Bulletin. ,
Following the receipt and opening of bids, Staff will come back to
Council for acceptance of bids .
Brian Bourassa, P.E. of OSM Engineering and Staff will be at the
meeting for any discussion you may have regarding this issue.

RESOLUTION 1993 -
A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
AND AUTHORIZING ADVERTISEMfNT OF BIDS
SHANNON HILLS 5TH ADDITtON STREET AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS
CITY PROJECT #243
WHEREAS, the Consulting Engineers for the City have prepared final plans and
specifications for Shannon Hills 5th Addition Street and Utility Improvements, Project
#243, and such plans and specifications have been presented to this Council for
approval:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Rosemount,
Minnesota:
1. Such plans and specifications are hereby approved and ordered placed on file
in the office of the City Clerk.
2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official City
newspaper and in the Construction Bulleti� an advertisement for bids upon the
making of such improvements under such approved plans and specifications for
City Project #243. �
3. The advertisement shall be published in each of said publications at least once
not iess than three (3) weeks before the date set for opening bids, shall specify
the work to be done, shall state that bitls wilf be publicly opened on July 30,
1993 at 10:00 o'clock a. m. at Rosemount City Hall in said City and that no
bids will be considered unless sealed and fiied with the City Clerk and
accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified check
payable to the City Clerk for five (5%) percent of the amount of such bid.
