Resignation
On August 9, 1993 Jane Mollman submitted her resignation from t e position of
Program Director for the Parks and Recreation Department. A copy of her
resignation is attached.
Jane has worked for the City of Rosemaunt for the past several years ta
continue the providing of quality pragrams for our city. She has been an
asset to the department and will be missed in our leisure services
pragramming.
Several discussions were held dealing with the fi2Zing of that position. Two
of the main factors considered were the present work load and the schedules
to be met within the leisure serviees area of the department.
Based on discussions with Steve Jilk, Sue Walsh, and Lisa Jost it is my
recommendation that Lacelle Cordes be assigned to replace Jane Mollman in the
position of Program Director on an interim basis. Lacelle is a very capable
and qualified staff inember who is presently serving as a part time Parks
Programmer. This action would allow the department to have a qualified
person on board very quickly.
The interim assignment would be from August 30, 1993 through February 28,
1994. Lacelle's salary is in the same range as the Program Director and
therefore she would continue at her current rate of pay. During the period
as interim Program Director Lacelle would receive all benefits related to
this full time position.
The part time position of Parks Frogrammer would remain open at this time.
Lacelle will continue to assist as time allows to complete such tasks as Tree
City USA recertification, grant proposals, etc.

RECOMMENDED ACTION: Accept the resignation of Jane Mo3lman�from the
position of Program Director and to assign Lacelle Cordes to fill that
position on an interim basis from August 30, 1993 through February 28,
1994 with full pay and benefits afforded to that position.

It is with this letter that I announce my intention to resign
from my position at the City of Rosemount. My last day will
be Friday, August 27, 1993. I will be staying hame to care
for m� daughter, Bethany.
I have only good feelings about the duties I have been assigned
and the people with whom I have worked during my years at the
City of Rosemount. I will miss my co-workers and friends at
the City of Rosemount.
