The City has purchased and cleared three �arce s adj ent to the National Guard Armory. The properties will be a storm detention facility for the facility_ These properties are zoned C-2 Community Commercial and should be zoned PUB Public. The Planning Cqmmission reviewed the request at the August 10, 1993 regular meeting and recommended Chat the City Council proceed with a lot combination and a rezoning of the properties. The rezoning requires a public hearing. Planning staff recommends that the hearing be set for September 7, 1993 . The lot combination will also be_ taken care of at that meeting. Recommended Action: MOTION to schedule a public hearing on September 7, 1993 at 8 : 00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as possible to consider rezoning praperties associated with the Rosemount National Guard Armory.
