This item consists of approval of plans and specifieations for the
Valley Oak Pond Outlet. A set of Plans and Specifications is on file
in my affice for your examination.
An informational meeting was held Wednesday, May 12, 1993 with the
residents supporting the project. The next step is to approve the
plans and specifications and authorize Staff to seek bids on the
project. Staff is recommending a bid opening date af June 11, `1993 at
10:00 a.m. .
Advertisement will be placed in the City's offieial newspaper and
Construction Bulletin.
Following the receipt and opening of bids, Staff will corne back to
Council for acceptance of bids on June ].5, 1993 .
Staff recommends approval of the plans and specifications.

RESOLUTION 1993 -
A RESOWTION APPROVlNG THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
AND QUTHORIZING ADVERTISEMENT OF BIDS
VALLEY OAK POND OUTLET IMPROVEMENTS
CITY PROJECT #197 '
WHEREAS, the Consulting Engineers for the City have prepared revised finat plans and
specifications for Valley Oak Pond Outlet Improvements, Project #197, and such plans '
and specifications have been presented to this Council for approvaL•
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESO�VED, by the City Council of the City of Rosemount,
Minnesota: '
1 . Such ptans and specifications are hereby approved and ordered placed on fife in the
office of the City Clerk.
2. The City Clerk shall-prepare and cause to be inserted in the official City newspaper
and in the Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon the making of sucfi
improvements under such approved plans and specifications for City Project #197.
3. The advertisement shall be published in each of said publications at least ance not
less than three (3) weeks before the date set for opening bids, shall specify the
work to be done, shall state that bids will be publicly opened on June 11, 1993 at
10:00 o'clock a. m. at Rosemount City Hall in said City and that no bids will be
considered unless sealed and filed with the City Clerk and accompanied by a cash
deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified check payable to the City Clerk for
five (5%) percent of the amount of such bid.
