At least two of the port authority commissioners have indicated to me
recently that they would like a progress report on the activities and
development of the community center/ice arena. I have forwarded this
request to Mr. Jim Topitzhofer, the community center ma.nager, and he has
agreed to give the commissioners a verbal update at the December 7 meeting.
The commissioners may want to discuss how the community center will affect
business opportunities in Rosemount, e.g. how many activities already
booked will have a need for motels or restaurants or what-have-you.
