CLOSED EXECUTIVE SESSIO145
NOVEMBER 24, 1992
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a closed executive session of
the Rosemount Port Authority was duly held on November 24, 1992 at 5:30
p.m. in the Council Lounge at City Hall, 2875- 145th Street West.
Chairperson Dunn called the meeting to order with Commissioners
McMenomy, Sinnwell, Anderson, and Mawe present. Also present were
Executive Director Jilk, Economic Development Coordinator Miller, and
Attorneys Ostlund and Allgeyer from the Lindquist and Vennum law firm.
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the options open to the Port
Authority regarding the Strese Oil property acquisition and relocation
of Rosemount Ice Company.
Considerable discussion followed.
Commissioner Edwards took his chair at 6:25 p.m.
MOTION by Sinnwell to direct legal counsel to file for.a.delayed hearing
on the quick -take proceedings for the Strese property by December 1,
1992. SECOND by Dunn. Ayes: Sinnwell, Anderson, Mawe, McMenomy,
Edwards, Dunn. Nays; 0.
Consensus was reached among Port Authority commissioners to direct legal
counsel to discuss acquisition of the Strese Oil property with the First
State Bank of Rosemount and the Strese family.
MOTION by Dunn to adjourn.
Meeting adjourned at 6:54 p.m.
