RE: RESIGNATION AS APPEALS OFFICER
In effort to promote a positive relationship between the Port Authority, the City and
members of the general public I feel it necessary to tender my resignation as Appeals
Officer.
By providing an appeals process that does not involve City Staff, the appellant will
have more comfort in the neutrality of the decision. The entire relocation process will
be carried out with less question and less work for the Port Authority.
1 appreciate the confidence extended to me by the Port Authority members, however,
in light of recent editorial comments the process would benefit from no Staff
involvement.
