A. Consideration of Relocation Claims Submitted by Mr. A1 Monk - tabled until
condemnation completed.
B. Review of Resolution Authorizing Adyertising of Bond Sa1e for Acquisition of
the Abbott Property - approved
C. Extension of Watermain to Repairs, Inc. Site - staff directed to solicit bids
for proj ect
D. SEH Letter - Sinnwell questioned counsel regarding legal ramifications on
SEH agreement signed September 1 and not presented to the port
authority until September 9.
E. Letter to the Editor - discussion
5. Work Session
A. Presentation of Cottages Inc. Regarding Senior Housing in Rosemount - John
Arkell, Cottages Inc., explainecl details of proposed project and received
the port authority's go-ahead to begin working with staff on a project.
B. Discussion of Business Park Promotional Activities - Chair Dunn appointed
ad-hoc committee to work with Miller. Members include Carroll, Dunn,
and Anderson.
C. Discussion of 1994 Work Program and Budget - set special meeting for
October 2, 1993, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 at city hall. ** Please note. Time
has been changed to start at 9:00 a.m. due to special city
council meeting at 8:00 a.m.**
D. Review of Motel Development Proposals - no motel proposals submitted.
Staff directed to negotiate a development agreement with Ray Anderson
Associates for the construction of a Comfort Inn MoteL
E. Business Park Zoning Status - Staff explained re-zoning process being
undertaken by planning commission and staff. Staff directed to advise
planning staff of port authority's concerns.
