AND LANDSCAPING PLAN, PHASING PLAN
The port authority has authorized SEH, Inc. to complete several engineering
documents necessary for subdivision of the Abbott property. Dave Simons
from SEH will be in attendance to discuss with you the.
1. Preliminary Plat
2 . Grading and Landscaping Plan
3 . Phasing Plan
The port authority, acting in the role of developer, should review and
approve this work prior to its submittal to the planning commission and
city council . SEH should be directed to make any changes you think are
appropriate.
I have been working with Ellen Irish at Dakota County on the street names.
A proposal being seriously considered at this time is "Business America
Way. ° My favorite though is Dave Simons suggestion of "Business Parkway, °
This is a marvelous but desciptive play on words.
With regard to timing and sequence, I would advise the commissioners that
it is usual and customary for a developer to initiate preliminary plat
approval prior to closing on a land sale.
RECON�SENDED ACTION: Motion to approve (as amended) the preliminary
plat, grading plan, and phasing plan for subdivision of the Abbott
property and to direct submittal of the plan to the city of Rosemount
for review.
