This is a 100% assessable project. Staff is asking council to receive the petition and order the feasibility report. S.E.H. will be the consulting engineer to prepare the report. RECOMMENDED ACTION: Motion to adopt a resolution receiving petition and ordering the feasibility report for Shannon Hills 3rd Addition street and utility improvements, City Project #225. COUNCIL ACTION: 4 TO: Mayor McMenomy Council Members: MEMORANDUM Klassen Statts Willcox Wippermann FROM: Ron Wasmund, Director of Public Works/Building Official DATE: January 3, 1992 RE: Shannon Hills 3rd Addition The City has received a petition from Ground Development Corporation to do the public improvements of street, utilities, street lights and walkways for Shannon Hills 3rd Addition. The petition which is attached is asking for the City to order the feasibility study for these improvements. Since this project is 100$ assessable to Ground Development Corporation there is no financial risk to the City in ordering the preparation of the feasibility report. Payment is guaranteed by signature of the owner on the petition. The attached map shows the location of the 3rd Addition in relationship to the other additions in Shannon Hills. There are currently no issues from Staff on this proposal. I would recommend approval of Ground Development Corporations request. CITY OF ROSEMOUNT DAKOTA COUNTY, MINNESOTA RESOLUTION 1991 - A RESOLUTION RECEIVING PETITION AND ORDERING THE FEASIBILITY REPORT FOR SHANNON HILLS 3RD ADDITION STREET AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS CITY PROJECT # 225 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Rosemount has received a petition from the developer and property owners of the proposed Shannon Hills 3rd Addition Street and Utility Improvements, City Project #224. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Rosemount as follows: (1) the aforesaid petition represents 100% of the owners of the affected property; (2) the property owner requests in the petition that the improvements be constructed and that the entire cost for their share less the City's share of the cost of the improvement be assessed against the property; (3) the aforesaid petition is approved and placed on file; and (4) the City's Consulting Engineer, S.E.H. is directed to have the necessary feasibility report prepared for Shannon Hills 3rd Addition Street and Utility Improvements, City Project #225.
