This item is a request to spend $510.00 of fire department training monies ----
to send 6 firefighters to various classes at the Minnesota State Fire
School. The classes will be held on May 1, 2, and 3, 1992 at various
locations along the 494 strip. The 6 firefighters would be commuting daily
so there would be no lodging costs. Any meals during class time are
included in the registration fees. The cost for each registration is
$85.00. Hopefully, after successful completion of the classes, these 6
people will be able to return and pass on some of the knowledge they gain
to the rest of the members of the fire department.

Mike Widstrom
Greg Smith
Mike Haeg
Kevin Tucker
Money for this expenditure has been budgeted for in 1992. The $510.00
registration fees would be paid out of Account #101-42210-01-437.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Motion to allow the fire department to spend
$510.00 to send 6 firefighters to the Minnesota State Fire School
with funds to be expended from Account #101-42210-01-437.
