Attached find a letter of request for a donation to the 1992 Rosemount High
School Graduation Class Party.
In the past the City Council has decided to donate to this event because it
does provide an opportunity for a "safe, drug and alcohol free" experience
for the community's young adults.
I recommend your approval to donate $200.00 to the event in 1992.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Motion to approve the expenditure of $200 to the 1992 Rosemount High
School Class Party out of account 101-41110-01-598.

Dear Friends of Rosemount High School:
For over 10 years the parents of graduating seniors have provided a safe, drug and alcohol free
"all night partyon graduation night. The support of this annual event by businesses such as
yours has been vital to its success.
The Senior Class Party has no ongoing funding source. The party is organized through all
volunteer help. Money collected from tickets purchased by the seniors does not cover the full
cost of this party. Additional expenses must be paid for through donations.
The additional expense of providing this "all night party" means that we are asking the
community businesses and organizations to help us. All money and donations collected are used
to cover the cost of decorations, food, prizes and entertainment. In turn, your business or
organization will be acknowledged for its commitment to our young adults.
