DAKOTA COUNTY, MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION 1992-
A RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
ON THE ARMORY / COMMUNITY CENTER PROJECT AND
AUTHORIZE THE ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
WHEREAS, the City of Rosemount has been working with the
Minnesota State Armory Building Commission in developing a joint
facility project in the City of Rosemount; and
WHEREAS, this proposed joint facility includes a National Guard
Armory, a city owned Banquet Hall, a jointly owned Auditorium and
a city owned Multi -Purpose Arena; and
WHEREAS, the City of Rosemount has ordered the architectural firm
of Arthur Dickey Architects to prepare the plans and
specifications for the construction of this facility; and
WHEREAS, these plans and specifications have been completed and
presented to the City Council of the City of Rosemount for review
and consideration, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Rosemount has found
these plans and specifications to be in order and acceptable.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City
of Rosemount accepts and approves the plans and specifications
for the construction of the Rosemount National Guard Armory and
Community Center and authorizes the advertisement for bids to be
received on August 13, 1992 at 2:00 p.m.
ADOPTED this 16th day of July, 1992.
