The City has received a request from a resident on Copper Court in Country
Hills Addition to hold a block party on Saturday, September 5, 1992, from
5:00 p.m. to midnight.
Barricades would be placed at the entrance to Copper Court which intersects
with Connemara Trail. These barricades will prohibit thru traffic in this
area except for emergency situations. Attached is a map indicating the
location of the block party and where the barricades would be placed.
Current residents living on Copper Court have signed a petition indicating
their approval of the block party. There is one lot in this cul-de-sac
where a house is currently under construction, but the closing will take
place prior to September 5. I have advised the person in charge of the
block party that permission will have to be received from the new home
owners prior to the party.

RECOMMENDED ACTION: MOTION TO APPROVE THE BLOCK PARTY TO BE HELD ON
SEPTEMBER 5, 1992 FROM 5:00 P.M. TO MIDNIGHT SUBJECT TO RECEIVING
PERMISSION FROM THE PROPERTY OWNERS AT 13929 COPPER COURT.
