APOVE
.,
On September 15 the City Council awarded the contract for the construction
of the Armory and Community Center. The resolution provided for the
exclusion of certair bid items from that award. An item thoroughly
discussed and recommended for deletion from the contract award was the
"upgraded ice system." This item has a cost of $265,000 associated with
it.
When the resolution was drafted, I failed to specifically exclude this
item. The attached resolution will include that item as one that would be
excluded from the construction project.
This resolution will correct this error. The bid award amount did not
change as the reference to bid item 15 a., the alternate ice system was all
that was left out.
