Having taken on 3 additional people at the January 22, 1992 council
meeting, we are now in need of providing them with fire gear. Minnesota
Conway Fire and Safety has received the Minnesota Fire Consortium Joint
Purchasing Agency Contract for supplying bunker gear. The cost for a set
of bunker gear is approximately $600.00 for a coat and pants. The cost to
outfit these 3 new persons would then be $1,800.00.
Money for this expense has been budgeted in Account #101-42210-01-218.,
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Motion to approve the purchase of 3 new sets of bunker gear at a total
cost of $1,800.00. Money for this expenditure will come from
Account #101-42210-01-218.
