Consistent with the ordinance change adopted in 1991, I have iprovided
you a copy of the 1992 Building Valuation Data for this years
resolution.
As you'll recall, in May of 1991, we adopted a resolution officially
adopting the Building Valuation Data allowing the Building Official to
determine Building Permit Valuations. This Building Valuation Data is
updated in February of each year by the State Department of
Administration. We must then adopt the revised schedule on an annual
basis to stay current.
The square foot prices this year increased moderately. The price for
the square foot cost of a single family dwelling for instance
increased 90.
Staff recommends adoption of the new resolution.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Motion to adopt a resolution establishing square
foot costs for determining building permit valuation in the City of
Rosemount.
