It is a requirement of statutory cities to appoint a councilmember to the
position of Acting Mayor to act in the Mayor's absence. This is based on a
recommendation from the Mayor.
Mayor McMenomy is recommending the appointment of Dennis Wippermann to this
position.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Motion to approve the appointment of Dennis Wippermann to the position
of Acting Mayor for the City of Rosemount.
