Renewal of Building Inspector ContractCITY OF ROSEM UNT EXECUTIVE SUMMARY FOR ACTION CITY COUNCIL MEETING DATE: July 21, 1992 AGENDA ITEM: Contract Agreement Renewal AGENDA SECTION: Building Inspector Consent PREPARED BY: Ron Was Public Works Director/Building and Official AGENDIm # 4 ATTACHMENTS: Contract, Insurance Certificate APP 0 B : The attached contract shall represent the agreement between the City of Rosemount and Michael Fricke for the purpose of Contract Building Inspection services. The contract, with the exception of compensation amount, is unchanged from the one we executed in January of this year. The amount of compensation has been changed from $14.50jhr. to`$15'.00/hr. I have budgeted $15.00/hr, for the year of 1992 so there is adequate money to meet the request.. Mr. Fricke is required, by Contract, to carry General Liability and Errors and Omissions Insurance. We do have proof of that insurance. Mr. Fricke has done a very good job of representing himself under the previous contract. He performs complete and concise reviews of residential plans as well as very thorough field inspections. He is always polite and courteous to the contractors and homeowners while gaining compliance with the necessary code requirements. It is my recommendation for Council to approve this contract for another 6 month term.
