Jane Miklya, a resident of Rosemount at 14999 Fischer Ave. has raised
concerns that she is frustrated with the services, or lack thereof, that
the City provides her at her residence
Some of the concerns that she has raised have to do with the fact that her
mailing -address is Hastings and some of the mailings that the City has sent
out, such as the Stormwater Utility informational items, she did not .
receive. Then, when stormwater bills were sent out she received them and
was unaware of what they were for.
I have been unable, at this writing, to actually discuss these concerns
with her. Others on staff have spoken with her and her frustration seems
to be a combination of the fact that her property location does not provide
for the receipt of some typical city services, i.e. parks, blacktop roads,
etc. which are very visible to other residents and then mailings, billings
etc. are not being received because of city staffs' not checking property
locations in the City with Hastings addresses.
I have agreed to have Ms. Miklya speak to the Council soshecan personally
indicate her concerns.
