After reviewing approximately 125 applications for the position
of Assistant Planner, six applicants were selected for
interviews
Stephan Jilk and I completed the interviews for the position of
Assistant Planner on Monday, January 13, 1992
We are recommending to hire Richard Pearson for this position
beginning January 22, 1992 at the starting salary of $29,000 per.
year. Mr. Pearson has a degree in Landscape `Architecture from
the University of Minnesota. He served as Associate Planner for
the City of Coon Rapids for three and one-half years.He also
has considerable experience working in commercial landscape
design and construction.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: MOTION to approve the hiring of Richard Pearson
to the position of Assistant Planner with a be-
ginning salary of $29,000, subject to successful`
completion of a pre-employment physical.
