On Friday, April 10, 1992 bids for the referenced project were
received and read aloud publicly. Eleven bids were received and are
listed for your review on the attached bid tabulation.
The low bid received is from Erickson Construction, Inc., 13616
Pleasant Lane, Burnsville, MN 55337 in the amount of $199,859.20.
The engineers estimate was $280,000.00 based on 1991 construction
costs.
The firm of OSM & Associates, engineer for the project, and Staff`
recommend the award of Project No. 225, City Contract No. 92-2 to
Erickson Construction, Inc. in the amount of $199,859.20.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: MOTION TO ADOPT A RESOLUTION RECEIVING BIDS AND
AWARDING CONTRACT FOR SHANNON HILLS 3RD ADDITION STREET AND UTILITY
IMPROVEMENTS, CITY PROJECT #225.

RESOLUTION 1992 -
A RESOLUTION RECEIVING BIDS AND AWARDING CONTRACT
FOR SHANNON HILLS 3RD ADDITION STREET AND UTILITY
IMPROVEMENTS
CITY PROJECT 225
BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Rosemount, Minnesota, as
follows:
1. All bids on construction of Shannon Hills 3rd Addition Street and Utility
Improvements are hereby received and tabulated.
2. The bid of Erickson Construction, Inc., in the amount of $199,859.20
for the construction of said improvements in accordance with the plans
and specifications and advertisement for bids is the lowest responsible
bid and shall be and hereby is accepted.
3. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into
a contract with said bidder for the construction of said improvements
for and on behalf of the City of Rosemount.
4. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to
all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposit of
all successful bidder and the next two lowest bidders shall be retained
until a contract has been executed.
ADOPTED this 5th day of May, 1992.

Bids were received for the referenced project at 11:00 a.m. on April 10, 1992 and were
opened and read aloud. A total of eleven responsible bids were received. Erickson
Construction Inc., 13616 Pleasant Lane, Burnsville, MN 55337 submitted the lowest bid in
the amount of $199,859.20. The bids were checked for mathematical accuracy and
tabulated. The Engineer's Estimate was $279,362.00.
We recommended award of the Contract to Erickson Construction, Inc. in the amount of
$ 199,859.20.
