Two Letters of Resignation
F V//
Dennis Hanvelt, a six-year member of the Rosemount Fire Department, has
submitted his letter of resignation effective April 28, 1992.
Scott Adrian, a five-year member of the Rosemount Fire Department, has
submitted his letter of resignation effective April 30, 1992.
Both persons indicated that due to personal reasons it has become necessary
to leave the Rosemount area, thus ending their association with the fire
department. Both persons have been very active in the fire department, and
as you can see, Scott Adrian has chosen to continue in the volunteer fire
service at his new location.
At the regular monthly meeting of the Rosemount Fire Department on April
28, 1992 the members voted to accept Dennis Hanvelt's and Scott Adrian's
resignations with the dates they had indicated.
RECOBRUMED ACTION:
Motion to ratify the fire department's action and accept the
resignations of Dennis Hanvelt and Scott Adrian with the effective dates
listed above.

Dear Chief Aker
It is with great sadness that effective April 1, I will be resigning from the Rosemount Fire
Department with 5 years of service. I will be taking many memories with me. I want to
thank all of you who gave me the training and the help in being a fire fighter. When I came
to Rosemount, I knew nothing about fire fighting. It has been an honor to work with such a
diverse group of people. My only regret is that I can't stay in the city of Rosemount.
Personal reasons are mandating me to move out of the area. I hope to see some of you at
schools in the future, as I have joined the East County Line Fire Department. I will be out
of station 2 on Lower Afton Road so if any of you are ever in the area look me up. Thanks
again.
Res tfully Submitted
