Removal of Snow from Sidewalk Ordinance AmendmentCITY OF ROSEMOUNT EXECUTIVE SUMMARY FOR ACTION CITY COUNCIL MEETING DATE: November 17, 1992 AGENDA ITEM: Revision on "Removal of Snow AGENDA SECTION: from Sidewalk's Ordinance Consent PREPARED BY: Ron Wasmund AGEND Public Works Director/Building Official# -4K ATTACMIENTS: Revised Ordinance P D B Legal Notice i During an attempt to enforce the Sidewalk Snow Rer6oval Ordinance last winter, it was called to my attention that the Ordinance referred to concrete walks only. The attached ordinance revision removes any reference to materials and specifically identifies, through public notice, the corridors the City is responsible for maintaining. By listing the corridors in a public notice we can amend the list without rewriting the ordinance. With the revision it is still the intent to enforce on a complaint basis only. This change should allow us to enforce it legally upon publication. The ordinance is scheduled for publication pending your approval Tuesday night.
