Agenda
Now with the Sewer Diversion Amendment complete it ie time to resume
the completion of the Comprehensive Guide Plan Update. Presently,
staff is working to complete the final draft of the plan and maps.
Staff is working to incorporate concerns identified by the
Metropolitan Council into the draft. This work should be
substantially completed by the end of the month.
The Planning Commission held a work session on the guide plan during
October. This work session was quite productive with good discussion
regarding the Residential PUD, tree preservation, and urban
development boundaries through the year 2000. Because of the holiday
schedule and the League Conference, I am recommending that the final
work session be set for either December 14, 19:92 or December 22, 1992
at 7:00 p.m.
If the City Council is comfortable with the draft plan at the
conclusion of the December Work Session, then ',a formal Public Hearing
can be set for January, perhaps January 12th.1
On Tuesday I will be available to answer any questions you may have on
the status of the plan and related elements.
