This item is a request to purchase a MT -1000 16 -channel Motorola portable
radio to.be assigned to the Fire Marshal. With the scope of duties that
are assigned to the Fire Marshal, I feel that he needs to be within radio
contact at all times. The cost of this radio should not exceed $6,08.00
plus tax.
Money for this expenditure will come from Account #101-42210-01-439.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Motiontoallow the fire department to purchase a MT -1000 16 -channel
Motorola radio to be used by the Fire Marshal at a costnotto exceed
608.00 plus tax. Money for this expenditure will come from
Account #101-42210-01-439
