With the addition of a fifth precinct, it is necessary to purchase voting
booths and miscellaneous equipment and supplies. I am also taking this
opportunity to purchase one additional voting booth for the other four
precincts so that each precinct will have six voting booths.
This election equipment was budgeted for in the 1992 CIP.
I am suppose to receive this equipment prior to June 1, but if not; I have
added an additional $135.48 for sales tax.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: MOTION TO APPROVE AN EXPENDITURE IN THE AMOUNT OF
$2,219.74 FROM ACCOUNT NO. 202-49002-01-585 FOR THE PURCHASE OF ELECTION
EQUIPMENT AND MATERIALS.
