Lisa Jost, the Assistant Director of Parks & Recreation, serves
our department as a liaison to the Ind. School District ##196
Community Education Advisory Council. Each year I assign her to
take part in that State Conference held in Brainerd.
At that conference they deal with issues of community
volunteerism, program operations, and other various aspects of
community projects and coordination.
The seminar is being held at Maddens in Brainerd on the dates of
June 21 through June 23, 1992. The cost of the seminar is $ 450.00
that includes the registration, room, and all meals. Other
miscellaneous expenses such as continuing education units should
not exceed $ 100.00.
The costs for this conference would be covered from account
## 101 - 45100 - 01- 437.
RECOMMENDED ACCTION s to authorize the attendance of Lisa Jost, the
Assistant Director of Parks & Recreation, to attend the Multi -
State Community Education Conference in Brainerd on the dates of
June 21 through June 23, 1992 with a cost not to exceed $ 550.00.
